The Prince of Wales Trophy
On Friday 11 May, action kicked off at The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club in The Prince of Wales Trophy 22 goal. Four teams have entered this year’s competition, with the Final scheduled for this Saturday, 19 May. Emlor were the first to seal a win, defeating Jaxx Coco/Les Lions, 12-11 on Friday 11 May. In an exceedingly controversial match regarding helmet regulation, American team Valiente were the next to take to the field against rivals Monterosso on Saturday 12 May. Valiente came out the winners with an 11-7 win and with play continuing tomorrow Tuesday 15 May, it is all to play for.

The Murus Sanctus Trippetts Challenge
The Murus Sanctus Trippetts Challenge is underway at Cowdray Park Polo Club, with six teams entered in this year’s competition. Following play at the end of last week and over the weekend, the results are currently as follows: Talandracas defeated RH Polo 9-8, La Bamba de Areco defeated the all-Brit El Remanso 8-6 and Talandracas then went on to defeat Clinova 13-8. Play resumes tomorrow, with La Bamba de Areco set to take on La Indiana at 1pm.
