Addressing the white elephant in the room, Coronavirus has obviously adversely affected British Polo Gin… but equally, it is the same for every other business and household in the land. Put plainly, we are all in the same boat but if we pull together, we will beat it!
Whilst we are of course, still able to produce our multi award winning 100% organic gins safely, the market place has changed, albeit temporarily for our company.
This is owing in the main to the decision made on Friday 20 March for all "on trade sites", (where our gin is consumed on a premises), to close at the behest of the UK's government. We had also been due to exhibit and run bars at dozens of events across the UK which have now been cancelled or postponed owing to social distancing.
However, ultimately the health of the people of the United Kingdom and, more widely, the world, is of utmost importance so we do understand the rationale behind the Government's measures.
British Polo Gin is in fact based at The Foston's Ash Inn, where Rich our founder is also the landlord, so we do understand the monumental impact that social distancing and the enforced closure of "On Trade" sites has had on both the British economy and British people.
The good news story is that we have secured delivery channels to make sure that "Off Trade" sites (where gin is bought to be consumed at home) continue to be supplied with our delicious gin. This also means that we can deliver our gin straight to your doorstep and do so FREE OF CHARGE. Please Input "P&PBPG" at the checkout.
