We will be serving a selection of British Polo Gin creations including Espresso Gintini, High Goal Cocktail, Chukka Cocktail and Strawgasm. Our stable of gin offerings will also be completed by some fabulous drinks made using J&B Rare, Bloody Drinks and Woodbrothers vodka. All in all a delicious round mix to kick start your Burghley experience 

The keynote Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials is situated towards the end of the summer social season and as such attracts fantastic crowds who are keen to witness exhilarating equestrian action but also enjoy the last of the Summer sun, which is perfectly paired with sipping a delicious British Polo Gin G&T or British Polo Gin cocktail in this truly stunning location. 

It was with this atmosphere in mind that Laura Audley, Founder of Portobello Tents, launched Burghley Boutique , a luxury glamping experience, exquisitely set in the 300 year old walled garden at Burghley Park.  The experience offers guests the chance to stay right in the heart of the action while enjoying all the pleasures and adventure of life under canvas. Supplied by Portobello Tents, experts in the luxury glamping industry, Burghley Boutique will provide only the very highest standards of glamping. Laura, who grew up attending the Horse Trials, worked with eventers in New Zealand before returning to the UK to work for Blyth Tait after his 2001 Burghley win on Ready Teddy, has the pedigree to deliver a fantastic experience that we are delighted to be a part of.

With delicious and delectable drinks twinned with the very highest standards of glamping - think superbly squishy mattresses, bed side lights and the finest Egyptian cotton sheets – what more could you want from an equestrian weekend away?

So back to British Polo Gin…alongside running the bar over the whole week, we are delighted to release a limited edition run of British Polo Gin No. 3 Botanical, which was the only gin to win three stars at the 2018 Great Taste Awards.
